We have 15 yr old pine log home. We are preparing to re-stain, have alot of carpenter bee/woodpecker damage to logs. How do you suggest to repair. Do we use a foam first and a putty on top of that? A putty will be white? How does that work when using a semi-transparent stain? I looked thru your other posts, cannot believe more people have not had this problem.
