Our cabin was built in the 1930’s. When we bought the cabin, there were vines we cut down. Underneath we a couple of rotten places. How can we repair these logs and what maintenance for the other logs. Thanks Kim

Vines and other plants are very harmful if planted too close. Glad you cut them. The best thing would be to replace those 2 logs and check all the others for rot also. See my notes on web site, how to check for log rot.
After those are replaced, spray them with borate before you stain to match the original cabin. As for the other logs, If they are sound shape, Just put a matenance coat on the house of clear sealer. Timelesswoodcare.com can help you with materials.
