I have a 5 yr old Northern White Pine log home in western Pa. I stained 1st yr and 2nd yr with Men-Wood solid stain. I’m told Wood Guard is the stain to use. My home weathers well. It has no shady spots however we see more than our share of rain. What are your thoughts on switching to Wood Guard.
