Will be building a kiln dried eastern white pine cabin in October in WV. I was told that I could wait until spring to stain/seal. Would it be wise to treat it with borate as soon as it is built to protect it over the winter,or should I just wait and use the WeatherSeal stain/seal (fortified with borates)in spring? Thank you for your advice.
