ike after the first treatment on the exterior of my log cabin i treated it with yacht varnish which i was told was the best thing to use then winter came and i noticed water blisters around the outside walls of the bathroom now some of the wood has turned black what should i do now?

Sounds like you power washed first. Who ever told you ”yacht varnish” was wrong. It is not made for the movement that exists in a log home. It also does not allow thelogs to breathe as they need to when you have a good quaity log home stain. Theonly way to get rid of black is to strip it back to bare wood and start over.Do not power wash!
