Hello, We installed a knotty pine tongue and groove ceiling mid-summer/a few months ago. Now, the fall temperature drop, furnace running, etc., seems to be triggering cracking noises. It is finished with water-based polyurethane, nailed up in the tongue and perimeter, and also glued to the existing ceiling with a strong construction adhesive. Is it normal to hear cracking noises with this new ceiling, or should I worry? Thanks!
