We are wanting to purchase a 28 yr old log home but need more space for a while until the kiddos move out. There is a loft above the kitchen/dining and its open above the living room. Would it be reasonable to put a sort of plywood flooring above the ceiling joists to create another sort of temporary room upstairs?
