We have a15 year old log home – the house is at an altitude of 8200 ft in Colorado. Last year we had the house corn cob blasted, stained and clear coat finish. It looks great. The corn cob blaster says we should have an additional clear coat done this summer to permanently protect the logs. It is expensive. Do you think this is necessary? Thanks.
