I am installing D log siding on a newly constructed home. Questions that I have: 1.) We are using butt joint corners which have large cracks on them. These cracks should not be caulked, correct? 2.) Where the logs meet the door trim/window trim – should this joint be caulked? 3.) the top and bottom of the logs where they join together int he tongue and groove – should this be caulked? 4.)
