We had a hybrid log home built 9 yrs ago. I would love to replace the siding on our dormers with ”fake” stone. Is that a possibility?

Sure, but remove the log siding first. Just remember that the ”fake” stone is not friendly to a harsh cleaning if it gets moldy or dirty since the ”look” is paper thin over concrete.
