Yes, these logs can be replaced. You should contact Ryan at 877-788-5647 for more help. You should install rain gutters whereever the rain is falling from the roof and splashing on the logs. Decks and where the logs are close to the ground are suspect areas for log rot.

You should have a home inspector take a look at the floor joist. He (she) will be familiar with the local building coades for your area. As for the heating situation a boiler would be best. It should be inspected for log rot, finishand chinking.
