You will have to attach a number to each log for reference. Take pictures once each log is numbered for further reference. At the new location reassemble the logs to there original location per the number. I do not know of anyone in the Maine location to recommend for help.

You will have to corn cob blast and then sand the logs if you want them smooth, but you will still loose the hand hewn look for the most part. If the contractor is good with a grinder you can try to duplicate the hewn look. DO NOT power wash.

You will have to corn cob blast it. Do not let anyone power wash it. You will not get as good of a job and and it will never really dry out properly to apply new stain.
