I am looking into stripping / preserving / staining / sealing / and chinking our newly bought log home. Its 4 years old, and needs just a little tlc. What order would i do all this work, and if i strip it with a power washer, can i continue all the rest of the work after a couple of days. thank you

You should never power wash your log home. If you do I would wait a couple of months to allow it to dry out. Corncob blasting is the best method. It is a dry process and you can continue with the rest of the work immediately. The proper order is – blast, sand, if necessary, borate treat, stain and chink.
