We are trying to save hydro expenses.Our cottage has knotty pine panelling upstairs and downstairs (I believe this is tongue and groove)each strip is about 3 1/2 inches wide, all floors are laminated wood, again I believe tongue and groove.I would like to turn off the electric heat and have my water drained etc. for the winter months. I have been told this is a no,no as it will cause the floors to warp and the panelling to buckle. Could I have your opinion on this. The area is between Renfrew an
