I am building a cabin using log siding on the exterior. I wanted to use Behr(Premium) semi transparent stains. I will be using a very dark color for UV protection. Have you heard anthing bad about the product and is it a good fit for that type if material?

In my opinion, you should spend the money for a good quality log home stain like Life Line from Perma Chink. It will save you money in the long run if applied properly.
