I was thinking about buying a dust collector to help with the dust in my cabin. It’s so hard to keep dusted. Any recommendations on how to clean it? The walls are always dusty.

A dust collector usually won’t solve this — most cabin dust comes from dry, unfinished logs shedding fibers, not from the air system. The best fix is gently cleaning the walls with a soft brush or vacuum and then sealing the interior logs with a finish like oil, wax, or shellac to lock the dust down. Once the logs are sealed, the dust problem usually drops dramatically. Air purifiers can help, but sealing the logs is what really makes the difference.
