We have a log cabin that was built in 1947 and has been painted ”white” twice. The paint looks like it can come off easily because we have peeled some off. We would like to restore the logs back to the ”original” wood and seal and restain it. Can you recommend someone near Grayling Michigan that can do this?

It would have to be corn cob blasted, and possibly sanded to remove this paint. Paint is not good for logs. It does not allow them to ”breath” properly. A less expensive route would be to corn cob blast and then apply a solid color stain. Looks like paint, but is good for the logs.
