I have a pine log home that has been painted with SherW latex. There are many checks on the exterior 1/16th”-1/8th ” some of which are letting in cold air. Is there a paint you could recommend that would seal the checking?

First, You should never paint a log home. It seals it too tightly and will cause log rot over time. You should have it removed as soon as possible.
Thechecks that are allowing the wind inside should be filled with Energy Seal, but you must inspect them 2-3 times per year to maintain the seal.
