I purchased a cabin that was going to be torn down. The logs are 10” round on round double tongue and groove (chinkless) white cedar, milled smooth, no taper. I am looking for information on the correct way to re-build, using the correct products, in the correct order.I have sanded the logs to the bare wood to remove the stain and degraded wood. The logs had a bead of caulk on the top of each tongue. No gasket seal or any kind of backer rod anywhere. I do not know the manufacture company so
