I have a 6 year old oak board and batten house that has never been stained. It has some graying and staining on the wood. What brand or type of stain would you recommend for it.

If you want to go with a transparent stain you will need to media blast it first before staining. If you a good with a solid color stain (looks like paint) then a good wash first will be good. I would recommend Life Line or Sikkens for transparent stain or Sherwin Williams Woodscapes for a solid stain.
