Hi there, We completely sanded and stained our log home about 7 years ago, and have done very little up keep since then. There are some bare spots now… Do we need to completely sand it again, or can we just stain over top of the current stain? If we were going to re-stain every couple of years (I realize we waited way too long between stainings) do we then need to re-sand every time? The staining part is okay, but sanding is hell, so just wondering if there are any short cuts!! Thanks, ma
