We just built a log home. Due to tremendous rain during construction, It suffered water stains and mildew on the interior. I cleaned the logs with a tsp & bleach solution. I then sealed with Lifeline Interior. The water stains have reappeared and even darker! Did I hurt the wood? What can I do to remove the water stains and not injure the wood?
