Great site to review information about log structures. Our concern is a cabin we purchased 6 yr ago, it was built in 1975. Due to neglect prior to us the bottom logs have severe rot in them. One corner is sinking and the log has split, therefore no support for the structure. What would you recommend. we live in northern BC.
