We have a Douglas Fir log home that is 30 yrs. old. We have been using scotts liquid gold or lemon oil on the inside twice a year, but now the logs are looking gray a month after this is done. When this house was built they stained the inside a dark stain. Do you have any suggestions on what to do about the gray?
