We are In Louisiana, logs have been going up (down with hurricane) and back up for period of 6 months now, leaving logs really dried out. (Sun/rain/sun). Powerwashing was not removing dark mold on cypress so we bleached then rinsed. Turned beautiful white! We then stained with TWP CA Cedar oil stain. It soaked it right up leaving a dull look. We want to seal it with semi gloss to bring out color. Some say not to seal cypress. If so, what can you use over the oil stain? Confused.
