I do not recommend Corn Cob Blasting for the interior. Sanding is a more freindly interior surface to keep clean.

You should call Timeless Wood Care at 800-564-2987 and get their advice, but I would say no ”thane’s” on the logs. Perma Chink makes a great interior stain and clear coat that will give you the same looka nd is better for the wood.

would get all of the insulation, drywall or anything else covering the logs off and then get a mold expert in to evaluate the situation. If it has been a while since the flood, the logs have probably dried out.

I would contact the maker of the type of log home that you bought. To hard to tell without seeing it. You might want to find a contractor that knows log homes.

Typical maintenance on a log home is 3-5 years. You do not want the stain to start fading or peeling. I recommend that you budget $1 per square foot of house / per year for maint.

Sounds like you may have some mold or fungus growing under the stain. Logs could have been to green when constructed. ??? Or if the surface was not properly prepared before staining could be the cause.
