Unless you strip the logs back to bare wood before you apply the Boracare, you are wasting your money. The borate must soak into the wood fiber so that when the beetles bore in and digest the wood it kills them. Just spraying it on the stain will not work.

Mud Dauber’s. They are harmless other then the look of them on your home.

You will have to write the ”Brick Home Doctor”. Just kidding. 🙂 I would recommend getting an entomologist (bug man) to look at them. I have never heard of such a thing. Call a local pest control company to find one.
