Should be. That is the thickness of most kit style log homes. I would recommend caulking the exterior completely for maximum efficiency. Caulking the interior as well would be even better.
6 months to a year is best. I hope you didn’t put the green siding up already. You will end up with large gaps as it dries if so. I recommend LifeLine Interior stain and Acrylic finish. Call 800-564-2987 to purchase.
I do not recommend spraying the interior. Best if hand brushed. The over spray causes a rough surface. One coat of LifeLine Interior Clear and one coat Acrylic Gloss/Satin. Call Dave at 800-564-2987 to purchase and get more help.
It would need to be sanded to lighten up. I do recommend that you at least put a clear coat on them so the dust and dirt cannot get into the wood fiber.
Better to use the naturally dried logs, but a year would be better.
