You should have them corncob blasted to remove the paint and then stain them with a good quality log home stain. You should also borate treat them after the blasting process. If there is chinking I would also recommend installing new latex chink.

DO NOT use bleach or power wash. You could sand the marks out or get a contrator to corn blast with a very fine grit to remove the marks. Call Mike at 866-670-3020 for help.

Not sure what kind of stain you used, but it could be gases from the foam in between the logs causing it. It could also be that you applied the stain on the sunny side when the wood temp was to hot from the sun. ???

More than likelyyou will not get rid of it. It sounds like it is ”Blue Stain” which runs all the way to the center of the log.

Either the chink was applied too thin and has failed or the windows and doors were not installed properly. Maybe a flashing problem on a chinmney thru the roof?

The sooner the better for getting them stained. You should not let them set for long after this washing or mold spores will form again.
