Do not fill them unless you know they are allowing wind water or bugs inside. If you fill them and do not maintain them a couple of times a year they will cause the logs to rot over time.

If the gap is 3/4” or more you should use Grip Strip backer and Perma Chink over it. Anything less you should use Energy Seal caulk. Call Dave at Timeless Wood Care Products for more help and the materials you will need.

You really need to call Dave at 800-564-2987 for assistance and the materials that you will need.

You can, but I would highly recommend getting the paint off from the logs first or you will experience surface rot on the logs eventually. Call Mike at 866-670-3020 for an estimate to remove paint.
