Not sure how you would make it. Call Timeless Wood Care Products at 800-564-2987. I think you can still buy it, though I would recommend using chinking.
You kind of have to mess with it to get the right sticky consistency that you need.
Not sure about flooring. It may ahve to be pulled up and re-installed.
I would recommend caulking first.
I would recommend using Energy Seal instead. If you mean the checks when you say ”grooves in the logs”, do not fill them.
There is nothing that I know of that will hold up for much more than 2 years on a flat deck surface or rails.
