I would dig it all out and replace with Energy Seal that is close in color to your stain.

I do not recommend oil for logs homes. Go with a good quality latex stain like LifeLine or Capture/Cascade that is made for log homes and will allow the logs to breathe unlike the oil finishes. Call Dave at 800-564-2987 for help and the materials that you will need.
