The carpenter bee holes should be treated and filled. I would not recommend the TWP. Call Dave at Timeless Wood Care Products for Bee Kit and answers to stains. Stick with a latex stain like Life Line.

You should Osborne Brush entire house and use a good quality latex stain made for log homes like Perma Chink Life Line. In my opinion, do not use the Sansin.
Apply a coat of Cetol Maintenace. It is clear (for the most part) and will freshen up the Dark Oak 009.
