Not much you can do other than have it replaced. You could do a temporary patch by filling the cracked boards with epoxy or Energy Seal, but his will be a major maintenance headache. Cedar lap siding is like this also if left unattended.

My experience is that unless it is just a black surface it will have to be replaced. 1/4” thick will deface the log to much to give it that original look. Call Ryan at 877-788-5674 for help with log replacement costs.
