It would probably cost just about as much to side. ??? I wouldn’t want to cover up nice red cedar, but it could be done. I would recommend a borate treatment on the logs first.

Can only recommend Perma Chink to do it right. Try to google an old style chink recipe.

It will be fine to corn cob blast the cedar wood on your home. You just have to go over it a little quicker than the logs. You will have to experiment.

Corn cob blasting will not effect the interior chinking and would be the best way to prep the exterior for stain and chink. Call Mike at 866-670-3020 for help.

Iwould recommend sanding starting with a hard grit like 36 and then smooth out with a 60 or 80 grit.
