Mold means moisture. You should contact a local mold remediation company.
It will only rot from the inside out if there is rot in there in the first place. Being on the interior will slow it if there is rot.

Wow, not sure what that is. I would let it dry out for the winter and see what’s going on in the spring. Sounds like it’s going to need attention either way.
Could be ventilation issues in the roof or high humidity in the house. Try cleaning with TSP and hot water, but more than likely it will not remove completely. It may need to b sanded to remove.
You should get a flood remediation company to look at it. Also a roofer should look at it for proper ventilation problems.
