When you say ”rechecked” I’m taking that you mean filling the checks in the logs. Even thought I do not recommend that be done, if you must, use Grip Strip backer and Energy Seal caulk. Call 800-564-2987 to purchase.

Not sure why you would want to use it unless you are doing historic, but it is stuffed in between the logs with someone on each side so that it is fit tightly.
