Try washing them with Murphy’s Oil Soap per the label.
You can fill them on the interior if you would like. Do not fill them if it is exterior.
Not sure what your questions is. If the cabin is not heated it could be condensation as it heats up outside.

I’m not really sure what was used, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t T&G. I think ship lap would have been more the type of cut they could make back then. Try going to http://www.oldlogcabins.com/ for some information.
I would try Osborn brushing it first. You can purchase at 800-564-2987. You will also need a variable speed side grinder which they have.
