A shop vac with a brush attachment may work, but it would be best to sand the logs smooth and apply a clear acrylic sealer. Call Mike at 866-670-3020 for an estimate.

I wouldn’t. You should use something made for floors. The log oil may always be sticky.
It may turn a little black and will have to be cleaned with Wood ReNew before staining within 6 months or so. Call 800-564-2987 to purchase Wood ReNew. If it hasn’t been sanded with some light grit it will need to be done before staining to remove the mill glaze.
Very soon with Wood Guard. It depends on how well it is holding up on which product to use. My experience I would say use the stain and clear coat again.
