You should Osborne brush the interior and then at the very least a clear latex finish should be applied. Something with a little color if you like. I would recommend chinking interior and exterior also. Call Mike at 866-670-3020 if you need help.

Best way is to sand everything down and start over with a lighter stain.

You could try stripper. Be careful with it. You do not want to get it on the floor and it normally requires a lot of water to neutralize.

If you do use bleach, one cup in four gallons of water, then wipe the logs down with the mix.
