You should corn cob blast the exterior, apply a borate treatment inside and out then stain and clear coat. No magic stain without the first part of the process. Sorry.

Corn cob blast the entire house and apply Perma Chink Ultra 2 stain and clear coat.
If the mildew is on top of thestain you can try washing them with Log Wash from Perma Chink (800-564-2987). If it is under the stain it will all have to be stripped off and start over some time in the next couple of years.
